‘Worrisome’ levels of lead, arsenic found in some baby foods, Consumer Reports says

USA Today published an article on toxic findings from the Consumer Reports analysis of 50 nationally distributed brands of baby foods. They found that a large percentage of baby foods contained ‘worrisome’ levels of heavy metals, organic products included in their worrisome findings. Read the article by clicking here.

The danger of heavy metals is especially concerning for young children. As the article explains, “Exposure at an early age may increase the risk of several health problems, especially lower IQ and behavior problems, and have been linked to autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, according to the report.”
